ABOUT HANA 


Hana is a queer, Sydney/Eora based creative who’s in-depth experience with dance and performance has influenced her dive into technical theatre and management.

As a professional dancer, choreographer and performer Hana’s extensive knowledge of theatre, live events and shows intersects and informs her roles as a producer, stage manager and lighting tech/consultant.

With extensive dance training over the years, Hana has strong experience in commercial movement across multiple styles. Hana’s performance experience extends from live performance, film and theatre. As a dancer, Hana has performed for clients such as TedX, Vivid Sydney, Heaps Gay, Sydney Fringe Festival, The Colour Run, Sydney Mardi Gras, JD Sports, Sony and Sydney World Pride.

Hana has taken her relationship with movement and used this to extend her creative practice into choreographing, assistant choreographing, movement directing and casting. Recent credits include Amazon Prime AU, L’Oreal Australia, Heaps Gay and Absolut Vodka.

This first-hand knowledge and experience with dance and performance has now come to influence Hana’s passion for technical theatre and management. Hana navigates Producing, Stage Managing and Lighting through a dance-based lens giving her a unique edge and perspective within these roles.

Hana made her stage managing debut with theatre show “They Took Me To A Queer Bar” by Tommy Misa at the Old Fitz Theatre before going on to manage “Fxckery” by Club Chrome as a part of Sydney World Pride. Hana has been part of producing teams for Performance Space, One Dance Company and “Faux Pas”, while simultaneously developing and implementing her lighting operator/technician skills on different projects throughout this time.

Hana’s artistry is constantly evolving as she strives to be a creatively diverse asset to any project, performance or production.
